"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." Philippians 4:8 WEB
Since I do fan pages, I'm all over social media. I read so many negative things. People post negatives about each other, negatives about their job, negatives about themselves. People say, "I'm sorry" much too much. Have you talked with people who often begin with "No, yeah"? What is that all about? You compliment them, they often thank you with a negative response about themselves. I admit, I sometimes fall in this category. #workingonit
Stop the madness. Negative is as negative says. Your attitude determines your altitude.
"... whatever things are of good report; ... think about these things."

"Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life." Galatians 6:7-8
This is one of those passages people obviously don't believe. Ma used to say, "Folks don't think 'it stink unless they smell it". Some don't give thought to consequences from their actions.
God will not be made a fool of. What he says will come to pass surely will. Sow bad seeds of lying, cheating, drama, destruction and despair they get the same in return.
Reaping can be a good thing. We are rewarded according to what we sow. Sow seeds of truth and honesty, love and peace. We will be greatly rewarded much of the same.
Remember the ole principle of sowing and reaping. Put it to work for you.

"If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother." 1 John 4:20-21 WEB
Who is your brother? Not necessarily who you think.
"He answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” Looking around at those who sat around him, he said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.” Mark 3:33-35
Uh, yeah. That's what I say.

“Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21 WEB

"Be
therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. Walk in love, even as
Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a
sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance." Ephesians 5:1-2 WEB
How's your love life? :D

"He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" Micah 6:8 WEB
act justly - do the right thing (in God's eyes, not man's)
love mercy - quick to forgive
walk humbly - no pride
That's what God requires for us to walk in His good favor. Such a short list, right? Try this. Before every substantial decision or every decision that involves another ask yourself if it passes the 3-Test. Oh lawdy!!! Back to the alter. lol

"So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." Psalm 90:12 WEB
I don't make New Year's resolutions. One should always work towards a goal. One accomplished, begin another or two or three. :)
If I was to have a resolution, this would be good. Make every day count through choices made from the wisdom of God. Wisdom is easy to obtain (get) but takes work to attain (accomplish).
"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." James 1:5 WEB
Happy New Year.
