"You know tomorrow is not promised," they say. I beg to differ(old phrase π€).
Are people referring to Proverbs 27:1? "Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth." In my opinion, this pertains to what we do. Our paths should be directed by God(Proverbs 3:6), so we do not know what He will have us do(on tomorrow).
Then there's this. We have a promise within Psalm 90:10(my favorite π). "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years..."
One score is 20. Threescore and ten = 70, (3x20)+10=70. Fourscore = 4x20=80. Depending upon age and strength, tomorrow is promised.
So, because "they" sound right, we should not echo what "they say". "They" will have you shortening your days. Death and life is in the power of the tongue(Proverbs 18:21).
Whose report will you believe(Romans 10:16-17)? I will believe the report of the Lord.
Got strength?
With all that you embrace,
Embrace Grace Too. πππΎπ
