True story. Our church outreach ministered to an unsaved husband who wanted salvation and deliverance. The wife would not participate in the prayer because she was taught only "Ministers" should "lay hands". Even when the team leaders ensured her they were ministers.

Later, we saw them bringing in groceries which included cases of beer. The very thing from which he wanted deliverance. This is a prime example of "the letter kills". Her teaching did not line up with God's word that says He, "gave to us the ministry of reconciliation" 2 Corinthians 5:18

Although Ministers were present, we were all saved which made us ministers. Her church teachings killed his deliverance thereby killing "their" deliverance.

Make sure what you're being taught is in agreement with God's Word. Do not only feed from your church table. Study the Word. Receive from more than one teaching to see if they line up.

Even the devil knows God's Word and attends church. If the teaching doesn't sound right; if it agrees with government over God's word, "RUN SAVE YOURSELVES".

What I get out of this is "listen", first and foremost, so we can be wise. Listening can be with the ears and/or eyes. :) Be sure to know everything before making decisions.

Secondly, if our plans line up with God's we will always succeed.

So, what did you do about the Equifax data breach. Did you secure your credit/ID?

These are not recommendations. Just info about what I'm doing. I'm getting our free annual credit reports. I already have one freeze from a previous data breach. smh Going to put a freeze with the other two companies and file fraud alerts.

One of our favorite "cover all" prayerz is:
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment

With that said, I'm still doing the above because altho I have faith, God has made provisions for me to put works alongside it. :)
