“Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also." John 14:1-3 WEB

"And you, child, will be called a prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people by the remission of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the dawn from on high will visit us," Luke 1:76-78 WEB

"For this is the will of God, that by well-doing you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: as free, and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God." 1 Peter 2:15-16 WEB

How do you silence a person's ignorance? You do so by ignoring their foolishness. When you respond to them you tie yourself to it. They respond and some feel compelled to also respond. Well, gone is your peace and freedom.

This is what God means by the Son making you free. Freedom is the reward of obeying God's Word.

Free indeed. Embrace Grace Too 💖
