How do you silence a person's ignorance? You do so by ignoring their foolishness. When you respond to them you tie yourself to it. They respond and some feel compelled to also respond. Well, gone is your peace and freedom.

This is what God means by the Son making you free. Freedom is the reward of obeying God's Word.

True story. Our church outreach ministered to an unsaved husband who wanted salvation and deliverance. The wife would not participate in the prayer because she was taught only "Ministers" should "lay hands". Even when the team leaders ensured her they were ministers.

Later, we saw them bringing in groceries which included cases of beer. The very thing from which he wanted deliverance. This is a prime example of "the letter kills". Her teaching did not line up with God's word that says He, "gave to us the ministry of reconciliation" 2 Corinthians 5:18

Although Ministers were present, we were all saved which made us ministers. Her church teachings killed his deliverance thereby killing "their" deliverance.

Make sure what you're being taught is in agreement with God's Word. Do not only feed from your church table. Study the Word. Receive from more than one teaching to see if they line up.

Even the devil knows God's Word and attends church. If the teaching doesn't sound right; if it agrees with government over God's word, "RUN SAVE YOURSELVES".

What I get out of this is "listen", first and foremost, so we can be wise. Listening can be with the ears and/or eyes. :) Be sure to know everything before making decisions.

Secondly, if our plans line up with God's we will always succeed.

So, what did you do about the Equifax data breach. Did you secure your credit/ID?

These are not recommendations. Just info about what I'm doing. I'm getting our free annual credit reports. I already have one freeze from a previous data breach. smh Going to put a freeze with the other two companies and file fraud alerts.

One of our favorite "cover all" prayerz is:
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper,

My take on sharing and liking posts like this and similar ones.

The problem with this is we must be wise to see tricks of the devil. This appears okay and the author meant well. "Meaning well" without thought may stop a blessing. By Liking and sharing posts you agree wholeheartedly with what it says: "I will never get better". So, why ask for prayer?

God is a healer. Psalm 107:20, "He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves." The mouth can stop a blessing. If I am praying your healing and you say, “I will never get better” you stop the prayer and possibly the healing.

The devil is cunning. He knows anything said or agreed with will open the door to healing or open the door to demise. Make sure what you say is something you would not mind happening on the spot.

God is still a miracle worker. He put it all in your hands, or mouth. This does not come easily. It takes a renewing of the mind and practice. People should refrain from saying, “I have _____” or “I suffer with _____”. Change that to “Doctors diagnosed _____ but I am believing God for healing”.

A diagnosis is not a destiny. That power has been put in your hands (or mouths). Thoroughly read what you are agreeing with before Liking and Sharing.

Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

You will have what you say (by word or deed) whether you meant it or not. Be wise and speak what God says and you will never go wrong. Be blessed.

I just can't fathom why anyone would cut healthcare or any funding that is to help poor people and/or seniors. It's bad enough they tax disability income. 🙄Plus, wanting to cut taxes for the wealthy? WTH??? Only in the U.S.

See that's why God said, "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.” Matthew 19:24

How can we grasp hold of that abundant life? We do so by saying God's Word over our situation and believing He will make it happen.

I love that God exalts his Name and Word above all. Note Word is capitalized because Jesus is the Word (of God). Since God exalts these above all, He will make sure they work for our good when we use them.

Another scripture says He sent His Word to heal us (Psalm 107:20). There is something in God's Word to heal us spiritually, physically, mentally, financially, emotionally. Read it, say it, believe it, receive it.
