"For the thing which I fear comes on me, That which I am afraid of comes to me." Job 3:
There are various commentaries about what Job feared. One is, he makes burnt offerings for fear that his children "may" have sinned. Another is, after each affliction he feared what would happen next and it did. (Watch your mouths. Hint Hint)
I don't think it is important what Job feared, but the fact that he did. Think of how much time is wasted on fear. Precious time that could be spent doing other things. Fear and worry does not accomplish anything. Prayer and faith does.
The Word says for the redeemed of Lord to say so(Psalm 107:2). The operative word is "say". It also says God has not given us the spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind(2 Timothy 1:7). This is so we can live a life full of abundance, joy, peace, health and prosperity. #YEEEZZZ

"knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers, but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ;" 1 Peter 1:18-19 WEB

An abundance of silver and gold have I none, but what I have I share with you. The unadulterated Word of God.

"1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God." John 1:1-2 WEB

"Jesus said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, Before Abraham was, I am." John 8:58

"God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM," and he said, "You shall tell the children of Israel this: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Exodus 3:14

I love this. God is so awesome and so all-encompassing that He defies human grammar. It does not say "Before Abraham was, I was". Or, "I existed before Abraham".

God is not past tense, He is present tense. Even when he spoke to Moses and said tell them I am sent you. This goes beyond what the human mind can fathom. We must fathom it in our spirit.

Everytime I see both of those passages with the phrase "I AM",  it just gives me chills and thrills and the same time. Pause calmly and think about that. i.e. Selah

"For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, attending continually on this very thing. Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor."

For what reason? They are servants of God's. Your President too. Oops, did I write that out loud? #respect #honor

All have sinned. No one is perfect. We all fall short. Thank God for His mercy and grace.

Some  of my favorite scriptures. God gave us power through the death of Christ. That power is in His Word. If I don't believe anything else I believe God's Word is faithful and true.

Power, Safety and Protection
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness which is of me," says Yahweh.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

Psalm 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psalm 34:7 The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

Prosperity
Deuteronomy 28:6 You shall be blessed when you come in, and you shall be blessed when you go out.

Psalm 1:3 ESV He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

Children Are Blessed
Psalm 112:2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

My ultimate favorite is this promise for long life - 70/80 years

Psalm 90:10 The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.

Promise That The Word Works
Isaiah 55:11 so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do.

I really love these.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

People often say, "Take care". I learned long ago not to agree by saying, "Ok". They are telling you to take on worry and concern. 😮 If I agree by accident, under my breath I say, "I'm not taking on any care because God cares for me".

This all sounds deep but life is deep. Things we say can bless or condemn. Being Christian alone does not keep one from hurt, harm or danger. When our words line up with God's we have power. Jesus defeated Satan by saying, "It is written...".

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit.

"For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a righteous person someone would even dare to die. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:6-8 WEB

Who would do that? Only someone who loves you and wants to see you free. YEEEZZZ!!!

"Since we believe that Christ died for all of us, we should also believe that we have died to the old life we used to live. He died for all so that all who live—having received eternal life from him—might live no longer for themselves, to please themselves, but to spend their lives pleasing Christ who died and rose again for them." 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 TLB

This and only this helps us forgive those who have done us wrong. Now, I am not saying start a business partnership with them. Just see their struggle and relieve yourself from one.

Forgiveness does not let them off the hook. It lets you off the hook. It will cut that unhealthy tie between you and them. They have to answer to God. Being disobedient, and not forgiving, you let what they did cause division between you and God. Also, it is a form of pride which the bible says precedes a fall. God forbid. Restore yourself.
