"For there is born to you today, in David’s city, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. This is the sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth, lying in a feeding trough.” Suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army praising God, and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:11-14 WEB

Some say, "God doesn't speak to me". God is always speaking and listening. Are you always speaking and listening to Him? One way to hear from God is through His Word(bible). In the bible, God has addressed every situation. It only has to be found. "Seek, and you will find." Matthew7:7 WEB

"I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live." Psalm 116:1-2 KJV

God doesn't need to give you a still, small voice. The Word has given you the answers. Prayer is not the only way to "call upon Him", speaking His Word over your situation is another.
No word, no God. Know word, know God.

I see this question often enough, "Why do people say they love you when they don't?" Since you asked. Here's my spin.

"I love you" is based on the giver's love not the receiver's. A receiver's interpretation is often conditional, "If they love me they would _____".

We can't decide what love means to another person. Why? People love based on their capability not our need.

8 Types of Love According to the Ancient Greeks (1)
Agape — Unconditional Love(the God type).
Eros — Romanic Love. ...
Philia — Affectionate Love. ...
Philautia — Self-love. ...
Storge — Familiar Love. ...
Pragma — Enduring Love. ...
Ludus — Playful Love. ...
Mania — Obsessive Love.

Sadly, very few people are capable of the first. Also, it is rare to receive all the love we need from a single person. God places many people in our lives for this very reason. Embrace them all at the time needed. 😉

"Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do." 1 Thessalonians 5:11 WEB

We ought to help one another rather than pull down. Why? It is what we would want someone to do for us and our love ones. Also, it pleases God. When we please God, He blesses us.

Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren't tempted. Galatians 6:1

"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

How do we glorify God in spirit? Have a relationship with Him. Show Him that you know His Word. Isaiah 43:26(WEB) reads "Put me in remembrance. Let us plead together. Set forth your case, that you may be justified."

God knows if you know His Word because He knows everything right?

Sidebar: The devil does not. The devil can plant a thought but he can't read thoughts. Never say anything you don't want to happen. When it comes out of your mouth, he can make it a reality. For instance, "sick and tired", loving "to death", "died laughing", or something "kills" you. In many instance, you've told a lie. Oops!!!

Okay, back on point. God wants you to speak His Word so the devil is aware that you know it and believe it. How can you believe what you don't know? How can you receive if you don't believe?

Glorifying God in your body doesn't only mean eat good and exercise. Most importantly, it means to say and do what is right. "If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;" Isaiah 1:19 (no pun intended)

Altho, no human is perfect, blessings depend on the level of willingness and obedience. No, God does not play tit-4-tat but disobedience can allow the devil to steal your goods(i.e. steal, kill and destroy John 10:10). Goods can be health, finances, peace of mind, etc. Don't open that door.

Sidebar #2: In fact, if you opened a door say "I close that door of _____", then ask God to forgive you. He will, each time, every time. ;)

Let's glorify God in body and spirit. Be justified by knowing His Word. Eat the good of the land. #yezzzzz

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

Faith is the belief that you have the things you hope for before seeing them. Place your belief in what God says and not what you see. How? Say what the bible says about your situation and believe it.

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11:24

Now, this is the challenge. Stop saying things that go against what God said, otherwise you may never receive the promise.

Believe and receive. ;)

Regarding taxes and tithes:

"For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, attending continually on this very thing. Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor." Romans 13:6-7 WEB

"He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." Luke 9:23-24 WEB

People sometimes offend others and brush it off with "That's just how I am. I'm bold. I tell it like it is. I just can't help it." The problem here is not what they did because people are not perfect.

Where the problem lies is in offending someone and never apologizing to them. The apology is where "deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" comes into play

If you never make it right, it can hold back your blessings. When you lose that offensive characteristic of your life, "the same will save it".

"While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly.

Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a noble and lovable and generous benefactor someone might even dare to die.

But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us." Romans 5:6-8 AMPC
