"But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good, traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Stand in prayer. Keep the faith. Most of all, do not fear.
"A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee." Psalm 91:7
How do you keep the faith and not fear? You do so by saying what God says and believing in your heart that He will bring it to pass.
Don't look to the left or the right or at what did not work for whom. Even if "whom" is you. Every day is a new day. Besides, you have no control over anyone else nor do you know the details of their life. Control your life. Believe and receive.
